Hey there Divine Consciousness Ready to Shine in YOUR Authentic Expression,
In the spiritual world we love Mandalas and Sacred Geometry.
We love portals, gateways and vortexes as doorways into our next level of consciousness.
But very often these are abstract concepts.
I invite you to gaze upon the above image and see in its balanced formation a true physical embodiment of consciousness elevating, literally and energetically.
Because in this photo a phenomena is happening that has never existed before.......LEARN MORE
Who's this cranky ole be-horned dude staring at ya?
If you are familiar with the Tarot then I am sure you recognize this glare coming from the number 15 card - The Devil.
And in my Annual Reading for the Collective (now available exclusively in the Circle Evolution Gift Bag), this piece of work showed up as the very first card for January's mini read.
What?
No Ace of Cups portending new love, or 10 of Pentacles indicating major fiscal reaping of rewards gettin' the 2023 party started.
(Don't worry, they did show up elsewhere)
Instead the card representing our deepest fears, control, bondage and our darkest shadow energy showing up in the first month of the year!
While some coping mechanisms are clearly "negative", because of their destructive qualities, there are many "positive" coping mechanisms that can also "fail" us at some point in time.
Classic examples of this are, someone who throws themselves into work, only to lose an important relationship, out of neglect.
Or, is sooooooo organized, and time managed, life becomes a drudgery, with no room for spur of the moment magic.
And the dependency on these coping mechanisms may only be revealed when there is a "threat" that they might need to "go".
A coping mechanism is often the best solution we come up with, in order to survive something that would be otherwise completely overwhelming, mentally, emotionally, or physically.
In the dearth of true healing, coping mechanisms can be the "crutch" that gets you to the metaphorical hospital.
And, based on other things that are occurring in your life, choosing or using a coping mechanism to "get by" may be EXACTLY what is needed, until a better opportunity presents itself to go into deeper healing.
It's what we use before we're ready to move BEYOND THE WOUND.
Learn what some of the classic coping mechanisms we use are.
Since we roll through childhood with very little understanding of how the events of our lives affect our psychological zeigeist, we have little resources to "heal our wounds" as kids.
Instead, in order to survive the often overwhelming experiences of childhood dysfunctions and trauma, we come up with coping mechanisms.
The primary difference between coping and healing, is that a coping mechanism is designed to CONTROL THE CHARGE of a wound, as opposed to DISPERSING THE CHARGE, which is what happens with healing.
